Duo interpretation, need ideas?

Hi, I'm gonna be on my high school's Speech and Debate team, and I'm looking for a humorous (can be dramatic), duo interpretation piece for a girl and a boy. It should be about 10 minutes long, no shorter, we can cut it if its longer.

I really would like it to have potential to be a great piece. We can add the blocking and all that, but I really need people who are on speech teams and have done duo to answer this. What duo's did you guys see that were great? 1-place winners that no one does anymore? It can be somewhat romantic because we are really good friends and we wouldn't find it awkward.

I really need suggestions and websites for people who have found it there.

We recently won 4th place in a high school CFL (i think that's what it is), when we were only in 8th grade. Our piece, which was The Kissing Scene, by Carl Martin, was only rehearsed by us for about two weeks while others had their pieces the entire year, so I'd say we're pretty good considering it was our first duo.

You could do stuff from Almost, Maine. I haven't read it, personally, but I know people who are really looking forward to doing it (but can't, as they have no one do double up with). It's a collection of short one acts about the various members of the fictional town Almost, Maine (hence the title) and how many residents meet and fall in love, etc. There is one story about two men - just a warning if you're opposed to that sort of thing. The rest is boy/girl pairings.

Ummmm... that's all I can think of right now. :/ Currently, I'm sitting in my forensics & debate class looking for HIs and Storytelling lol. Just finished cutting my duo. :)

You guys can also find some great plays at findaplay.com. You can set limits on how many actors there are, how long it is, etc., and you can read previews from the plays.
