During Phelps' first Gold Medal ceremony in Bejing....?

Did anyone else notice that they cut the music off before our National Anthem was finished? And with President Bush in the stands too?

Yes. "Land of the free and home of the brave" was cut out.

I doubt it was intentional because in the sabre competition as the 3 American women was standing there the anthem was fine. It was just a glich. Anywho Phelps laugh at it.

Yeah, and the feed wasn't cut off, it still showed, they must of done something, i heard it was just a music stand mishap.

hmmm, I never noticed that.  is their proof that they truly cut if off or that the feed quit early from nbc?  

i sure hope it wasnt cut off intentionally but you never know...

Not intentional.  Anyway, Michael Phelps laughed when it happened, which was nice to see.  Made me like him more.

I saw that. I remember thinking, "Oh my gosh! How could they do that?"

Whether it was intentional or not, they could have replayed that part anyway.
