  1. Whats the 'indian' bit got to do with it. Do you refer to Indians or native Americans.

  3. I would say no.  The purpose of the media is to inform, and the field of journalism is supposed to be based on credibility without bias.  Today the media organizations, as well as individuals in the media, have obvious agendas.  The most glaring example is Dan Rather, former anchor of the CBS Evening News.  He was presented with documents that supposedly showed George W. Bush did not perform his Reserve duty during Vietnam.  Despite the fact that over half a dozen experts would not authenticate the documents (not to mention the fact that two experts stated point-blank that they were forgeries) he trotted these documents out in front of the American public as "proof" that Dubya tried to shirk his military responsibility.  It was obvious that he was deliberately trying to make Dubya look bad with no regard for the truth.  Dan Rather is not the only one doing it though.  Liberal and conservative media organizations and their pundits are twisting the truth to make it conform to their agendas.  As a result, Americans now have to take everything from the news with a grain of salt and do some hard research to find out wha the real truth is.  Isn't that what the media is supposed to be giving us?
