  1. At sunset.

  2. It is supposed to be dark. Well youre not supposed to be able to see the sun at least. Or you can just call a masjid and ask, thats what my family does.

  3. its around twilight, when the sun is setting, so the sky should be starting to get dark, but with streaks of warm colors, like red, orange, etc. ramadan mubarak.

  4. Salam for you .You can ask for explanation from the nearest mosque in your town the list of praying every day.The iftar or breaking time of fasting is at maghrib when the sun has been set At this time the sky will be looked glummy  or dark because there is no sun light anymore

The other muslim who lives in USA told me that the iftar is about 7.50 PM

  5. i use it myself :)

its accurate... i heard that someone has a mosque by them but they dowloaded the azan times and it matched.... so i think its correct as can be... second best thing to a mosque :)

    gud luck kidda :)

  6. complete sundown

  7. People use to look at the sky to make sure the sun has set, they didn’t have the watches. You don't have to look at the sky for iftar, just check the local timings for sunset and right after the sunset you can break the fasting. If you like you can free download the ADAN from the internet and configure it according to your location. The web site is www.islamicfinder.org.

    May Allah bless you?

  8. Magrib....just get a time sheet online.

Anyways its when the sun just sets.....so the sky is still a bit redish.

  9. its just at the mugrib prayer. there are website u can go to that will tell u the time.

i think islamicfinder.net will, im not sure tho

most mosques also have a calendar and times for prayer.

u can't really tell by the sky unless the sun is completely down, which is hard to physically do.

    pce

    g'lcuk in fasting

  10. It should be dark out and time for maghrib. You should do iftar first then read maghrib.

  11. after the sunset when you see (ash-shafaq) or the red streaks in the sky as Nada said :)

  12. wallah i go thru the same thing about every day that i fast. if you go by any islamic calendar, even islamicfinder, it will give you a time for adthan which is 5 minutes before the actual prayer time for maghrib. so you can go by that, or you can wait the 5 minutes, but if you go outside and look at the sky it still doesnt seem correct. the QURAN says that we break our fast when we can no longer distinguish a white thread from a black one, so you would think that is like 30 minutes after the maghrib time that most sites will give you. its confusing, and you dont want to as you said break your fast before its time.. just ask Allah to help guide you and forgive you for following the wrong time if that is indeed the case. Allahu alim
