During WWII did they allow a German or Japanese person to run for US President?

hey Mike I get that the Germans and Japanese at the time were not trusted...my point is why are we trusting the Bomb who is Muslim (nothing wrong with Muslims) but right now they are no more to be trusted during this time of war that was acted upon us by the Taliban or Alqada who are in fact Muslim?

    The Germans and Japanese were considered to be security risks.

    They were removed from positions where they might be a threat to the security of the United States of America.

    Barack Obama's was born in Hawaii and is over 35 so he is eligible.
