During a tarot reading?

Question

say you are doing a tarot reading and in the spot a bad situation in supossed to come up in, a good tarot card comes up and it is not what you are looking for what do you do? do you start over?

Part of learning to read Tarot is, learning to use the qqpi as well as the card (my short hand for it); Querent, Question, Position, & Intuition. All cards can fit into any position, it's just a matter of learning how this works that can give someone learning trouble.

Sun card in the bad situation. Burn out, too much attention, not enough confidence in the situation or self, etc.

Tower card in a good situation. Rebuilding what has fallen, being able to release something, a brilliant thought, etc.

Imho, you should never start over. When you want to do that, it's typically because you don't want to acknowledge what the cards are saying. If you really feel the reading isn't working (which happens) put the cards away for another day.

u have to let the cards land where they fall regardless of what u want. i'd say if a good card landed in a bad situation spot thats a good sign to be optimistic. it also depends on what kind of reading u r doing and what u r trying to figure out. I love doing tarot readings. are u doing it online or at home with ur own cards...that matters too.

Lol, I take it your one of those people who trys to fix things that aren't yet broken. If a good card comes up there may be no problem at all, if you are trying to symbolize a problem you already have, perhaps the cards are trying to show you something that your not seeing. There are no such thing as bad cards or good cards. You hav eto be a really good intuitive reader to be accurate.

It's not good to read 'self' b.c of the bias involved.

One card can have any readings and you have to look within to know what it is saying.

For example, if I asked about a person who was mean to someone and the devil came up with the sun card-I may intuitively pick up that if they break off with this person who is not good for me, than i will be successful.

Or if I got The world card and the sun, and the magician while asking if a person is good for a friend, and i knew they were not- the magician is also a deciever-so I would know that th ehappiness is a lie. Magician can also be good tho..it depends how u read them..that's why u must have a reader who does not know you to read you with their OWN deck.

You may be messing up th energy by reading yourself.

if u ned to read yourself buy gypsy cards-google that. they are colourful and look like 4 pics on each card. wonderfully accurate.

there are always good and bad aspects to all the tarot cards.. u dont have to start over..

if u are unsure what they are.. some research is needed to be done so u dont look like an idiot..

No, you read them the way they are, your not supposed to go into a tarot reading with any expectations.  Just a question.
