  1. i dont think so that the airoplane will be affected because the earthquake is due to disruption in the earth's tectonic plates and so it has nothing to do with things above in the atmosphere...though i'm not perfectly sure there might be some other scientific explanation for this!!!!!!!

  2. It's an EARTHquake, not an AIRquake!

  3. Because the densities are so largely different the air doesn't shake when the earth does, so anyone on an airplane wouldn't notice it.

  4.   They would be unaffected.

  5. Everything does not shake, No offence but im glad your incorrect, otherwise we'd all be shaking right now. Earthquakes happen daily.

  6. They don't even notice.

  7. Earthquakes are caused due to movement of tectonic plates...

Hmmm...Let me give u an example:

    Go to a puddle or a pond & throw a peeble....What do u observe?

I'm sure you'll see ripples...That is what happens in an earthquake...From the epicenter, similar waves rise & shake everything in its path...

Just as ripples do not affect the flight of an insect flying over it, the quake also does not affect an airplane....

    Quakes are ground activities...

  8. Do planes fly on the ground? No.

  9. actually, the earthquake only shakes the place where the earthquake hit. the  plane is also in the air and only the ground shakes, because the earthquake is caused by the plates underground moves. therfore, the airplane does not shake.
