Interesting, and without attempting to verify your statement or search for a reason, I would suspect it may be to retain the liquid so that it can be expelled through the skin to help regulate the bodies temperature. If your body doesn't have liquid to expel, it would have no way to reduce it's temp.

    Just my assumption.

Temperature can make the body seem as if it is losing more fluid (water).  In some cases this is not true.  If you sweat at high temps it is probably because of the high humidity.  With high humidity, your sweat does not evaporate but drips down and away.  In high temps and low humifity you body still sweats but the lack of humidity in the atmosphere causes the sweat to quickly evaporate.

    In high temperatures the body is working harder to keep the 98.6 temp that it needs.

  3. The body retains its same efficiency at removing fluids, there just are less fluids to be removed by the urinary tract.  In high humidity you feel hotter and sweat more because the sweat does not evaporate as readily and loses its effectiveness at cooling the body
