During physical therapy on my arm with the metal and screws, My arm seemed to burn...What caused this ???

I have a plate and screws. The pattern of the burn resembles the pattern of the radius and ulna and maybe the plate... I'm not sure.

It's doesn't hurt, but it's still visible two hours after I left the therapy place.

It also resembles plaid.

What do you think caused this to happen?

And how serious is it?

It could be an irritation to the nerves around there where the plates and screws are (an example only), but I would recommend letting the physical therapist and your doctor know what's going on.
