I was just wondering about how coupled acted back then? Like teenage couples? We're they as bad at they are now with s*x and stuff? Was it uncommon for a couple to make out? I know I probably sound like I'm 7 but I was just curious on how they may have acted. So thanks to anyone who can answer this for me?

  1. They were shy about showing their affection. Also in the 1940s women did not have all the rights they did today so many were not treated as nicely as today, others, the ones with gentlemen were treated as goddesses

  2. Probably the same way. Dont let the media fool you. Look at Alfred Kinsey's report on s*x made in the 1950s. Apparently the most sterile decade. It's just that things like s*x weren't discussed since they were seen as private

  3. "We're (I know you meant 'were') they as bad at they are now with s*x and stuff?" YES!!

Was it uncommon for a couple to make out? NO!!

The main differences were that the pill wasn't available and pregnancy was not accepted as it is today. So there were a lot of hands and mouths going on. But, believe me, it was just as prevalent, frequent and exciting--maybe more so--than now. Also, the back seats of cars were a lot roomier and there were a lot more quiet spots.

And, by the way, you could say the same thing for the 1930s and, God knows, the 1920s and the '50s, '60s for sure, and so on.
