During the prohibition could you OWN alcohol?

i know you couldnt make, buy, sell, import/export it, but could you own it? or there was something that you could do with it.

No. But wine wasn't considered the same as alchohol so you could have that. Some people would use rum to bake with. Most people couldn't afford it that often though.

You could make your own wine or cider from fruit up to 200 gallons per year.  Read about the Volstead Act.
