  3. there are 2 types of sun in Ireland.. sunlight  ( which which we have lots of)  and sunshine ( which has been missing for about 2 months)

    if anyone has seen sunshine, can they please call their local garda station or met office with their details of their sighting, all calls will be treated with upmost confidentiality .

  4. June 21st, the longest day of the year; the sun rises at 4.47am and sets at 9.53pm.

    July 21st:                  

    Sunrise: 5:23am

    Sunset: 9:36pm

    August 21st:            

    Sunrise: 6:14am

    Sunset: 8:40pm

    September 21st:    

    Sunrise: 7:06am

    Sunset: 7:27pm
