Late summer or fall are when they have the largest incentives as the new models are rolling out. If you have a need or can afford a larger vehicle or truck you can get a deal at any time now because Ford & GM are struggling to survive. As the 2009's start to appear from late August through Oct 31 they are dealing to make room for the new inventory. Now if you want the absolute best deal buy your car around Christmas and buy the current model year. Dealerships are very slow during the holiday season and they will deal just to get those last few year end sales numbers up. They also are desperate to unload what are brand new cars within a few days of being last year's models.
