  1. Remember it like this.

    Prophase- Pro= First

    Metaphase- M= Middle

    Anaphase- A- Apart.

Telophase-T- Tear (they separate and the cleavage furrow forms--the cell "tears" in two).

    P-MAT

    Good luck.

  2. They line up in Metaphase.

In prophase, the chromatin condenses into chromosomes and the centrosomes move to opposite ends of the cell.

In Metaphase the chromosomes lines up at the equator of the cell.

In Anaphase, the sister chromatids, separate, and are pulled towards opposite centrosomes.

In Telophase, the cell elongates and a new nuclear envelope is formed, and the chromosomes unwind back into chromatin.

  3. Metaphase.

The chromosomes align along the equator of the cell and are attached to spindle fibres by their centromeres.

During the next phase, Anaphase, the centromeres split and the chromatids are pulled to opposite poles along the spindle fibres.

    Hope this helps!
