  1. just cold water, as long as pipes are still in tact.

  2. yes when the power is out the water SHOULD WORK.

  3. my experience says if you are on a well .....no...if you have city water maybe....if the power is out at the water plant also .....no.... if pipes or lines are broken between you and the plant.....no.... don't count on water

  4. It will unless you have well water and it won't be hot and after about an hour it won't be cold either. It could also become contaminated but in such an event they would likely tell you by some means.

  5. yes they work...after a little while you prob won't have hot water

  6. N0PE! OUt Of EXPERiENCE: FiLL YOUR TUB WitH bEFORE tHE STORM HiTS.. iT CAN REAlly HElP OUt (:

  7. yes, water should still work.

  8. If the power goes, and you have a well with sump pump, no it'll not work. If you have city, or county utilities, water will work, but you may have to purify it for drinking. You can bathe in it purified, or not.

  9. yes it still works but the water will be cold

  10. Not if you have electrically pumped well-water.

Also, the water may continue to work, but if the treatment plant gets flooded out, or your water source gets contaminated, it may not be safe to drink.

This is why you're told to stock up on drinkable water before storm season.
