The former FC Groningen midfielder reveals his ambition to win silverware at De Grolsch Veste while insisting that he will try his level best to kick-off his career at the Tukkers brightly.
Dusan Tadic has expressed his desire to lift the Eredivisie title while donning the jersey of FC Twente Enschede in the 2012/13 season. insisted that he will try his level best to cement his place in the Tukkers’ starting XI at the earliest.
The versatile midfielder, who started his professional career at Vojvodina in the 2006/07 season, joined Pride of the North in the summer of 2010 after making over 100 appearances for the Serbian club.
The Serbian ace enjoyed a successful two-season stint at Euroborg Stadion, netting 14 goals while setting up an impressive 26 more in 68 Eredivisie appearances, before moving to the Enschede giants.
And the left midfielder is keen to keep his impressive form intact when he continues his career while wearing the Tukkers’ colours in the 2012/13 campaign.
“I want to start at Twente positively, and convince the club with my performances. My game is to take the ball from the midfield, and feed it to the front-line while taking risks sometimes with long-range strikes”, Tadic was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
The versatile midfielder went on to insist that he wants to win silverware and go as far as possible in the UEFA Europa League with the Tukkers.
“I want to see my team at the top of the table right from the start of the new season. We as a group have ‘a big appetite’, and we all want to win silverware. I want to lift the Eredivisie title as well, and want to see Twente compete in Europa League as
far as they can go”, Tadic concluded.
