of Olympic Tennis Courts in Seoul, South Korea on the Monday, 19th September.  After one hour and nineteen minutes of play, Russian Dushevina and Kazakh Voskoboeva won in straight sets of a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
Amanmuradova/ Makarova won the toss and opted to serve first. The Uzbek/ Russian held their serve in the first game and easily placed themselves on the score board. They then went on to breaking the number two seeded team in the
second game which also boosted their confidence.
In the following two games, they again broke their opponent and held their serve to take or rather secure a 4-0 lead against the Russian and the Kazakh.
In the fifth game, the number two seeded team of Dushevina/ Voskoboeva realized that the gap was too large to close in on. However they still tried their best and were able to not only hold their serve in the fifth game but also
broke their adversary in the sixth.
By the end of the eighth game, the Russian and the Kazakh had broken their adversaries for the second time and with expert control balanced the score at 4-4.

As they held serve for the tenth game, they smashed an ace at 40-love to clog the opening set.
It was an amazing performance by Dushevina/ Voskoboeva as they made a come from 0-4, to win the remaining six games in a row.
Opening the second set was again the Uzbek/ Russian team and the players broke each other in the following four games to tie the score at 2-2.
During the fifth game Dushevina/ Voskoboeva broke their opponents again to take a mini lead of 3-2. From there onwards the two squads kept on winning on their alternate serves for the remaining of the five games.
