My D300 Nikon camera's viewfinder has some dust spots in it everytime I look through it. Is there a way to get those dust spots out without paying a professional thousands of dollars?

  1. Well it won't cost you that much in any case.  How did the dust get there and is the dust on the viewfinder area where you put your eye, on the focusing screen?  Where?

If it is on the mirror, don't touch it, or you will be paying big bux to replace it.  Those mirrors are front surfaced and easily scratched

Read this and then do what you need to do

Your camera has a self cleaning feature on its sensor, so you don't have to deal with that issue ... again like the mirror, don't touch the sensor.
