Feyenoord came back strongly when Fernandez pulled one back for his side. Schaken’s ball found the Dutchman in space, and the striker finished with ease to make the score-line 2-1.
In the 79th minute, Fernandez scored his second of the evening to draw his side level. Sloppy defending from the home side in their own penalty area saw the ball fall straight to the striker, who powered his effort into the back of the net.
The Eindhoven giants, however, never gave up their chase to secure all three points. Poor defending from Martins Indi handed Zakaria Labyad an opportunity to put his side back in front, and the young winger fired home confidently to seal a 3-2 win in PSV’s
favour.
