On Sunday, February 26, PSV Eindhoven managed to bag three crucial points against their arch-old rivals Feyenoord Rotterdam on Eredivisie match-day 23.
The Eindhoven giants started the match with pleasant memories of the Rotterdammers’ last visit to Philips Stadion, when the hosts recorded a historic 10-0 thrashing.

In the 44th minute, the Eindhoven giants took the lead through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dries-Mertens-c11679 beat two defenders before setting up the unmarked Swedish ace, who had the easiest of tap-ins to make it 1-0.
The Stadiumclub resumed proceedings positively after the half-time break, but failed to score the equaliser. Fernandez fired straight at Isaksson before Otman Bakkal’s effort sailed over the crossbar.

Feyenoord came back strongly when Fernandez pulled one back for his side. Schaken’s ball found the Dutchman in space, and the striker finished with ease to make the score-line 2-1.
In the 79th minute, Fernandez scored his second of the evening to draw his side level. Sloppy defending from the home side in their own penalty area saw the ball fall straight to the striker, who powered his effort into the back of the net.
The Eindhoven giants, however, never gave up their chase to secure all three points. Poor defending from Martins Indi handed Zakaria Labyad an opportunity to put his side back in front, and the young winger fired home confidently to seal a 3-2 win in PSV’s
favour.
