http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/NAC-Breda-c39983 and FC Utrecht claimed a point each following their 1-1 draw at Rat Verlegh Stadion on Saturday, September 1.
The Utreg started the match aggressively, and had a perfect opportunity to break the deadlock within five minutes of play when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jelle-ten-Rouwelaar-c18282. However, the 26-year-old slipped just before striking
the ball, and the 31-year-old gloves man easily collected the loose ball.
NAC took full advantage of the visitors’ missed opportunity, and took the lead in the seventh minute through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Schalk. The young attacker made a fine run down the right flank before cutting inside, and firing a low shot past the Utreg goalkeeper, Robbin
Ruiter.
The outfit from Utrecht enjoyed lion’s share of ball possession in the remaining action of the opening half, but failed to score the equaliser.
After the half-time break, the visiting side continued to assert their authority, and managed to restore parity in the 74th minute through Gerndt. Jacob Mulenga’s cross from the right was neatly finished by the talented striker to make the score-line
1-1.
Both sides tried to score the winner before the full time whistle. However, the two sides had to settle for a point each at the end of the game.
NAC occupy the 17th spot on the league table, while FC Utrecht remain unmoved ninth on the table.
Vitesse Arnhem 1-0 Feyenoord Rotterdam
Vitesse managed to claim all three points against Feyenoord at GelreDome Stadion on Sunday September 2.

goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Piet-Velthuizen-c30016.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lex-Immers-c22181 had the next chance of breaking the deadlock, but his effort went wide of the target, much to the dismay of the Stadiumclub boss, Ronald Koeman.
On the other end, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Erwin-Mulder-c12875.
Both sides failed to break the deadlock until a minute before the full time whistle, when Vitesse took the lead through Bony. Mike Havenaar’s low cross inside the box from left found the Ivorian ace, and he diverted it into the bottom right corner of the
net with a brilliant back-heel.
All three points moved Vitesse to the second spot on the league table, while Feyenoord dropped down to sixth spot.
