Dutch International Dirk Kuyt eager to sign new long term deal with Liverpool - English Premier League
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348, the Liverpool striker, revealed he was ready to commit his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract soon. The Dutch International currently has two years on his existing contract but said he was looking forward to holding talks over
a contract extension which would keep him at the club possibly until the end of his career.
The 30-year-old is certain the Reds have returned to winning ways and next season, if not this one, will be back competing for trophies. Liverpool have had bad luck with owners and managers because of which their last two seasons have suffered. They have
failed to make it to the top four, thus failing to qualify for the Champions League and are no longer considered a threat in the title race.
However after the New http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 Sports Venture took over and replaced Roy Hodgson with Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool have become a different side. The new Liverpool boss brought in Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll in the January transfer window, the results of which
were apparent from the very first game after their arrival. Suarez has been terrific for the Reds, despite scoring on his debut; the Uruguayan has had an amazing impact on the team.
Kuyt revealed that bringing in fresh talent at Anfield just proved the club’s desire to improve and aim for silverware. He said while speaking to reporters, “Liverpool is a club that should be playing for trophies and I guarantee that will happen soon. With
Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll arriving, we have become stronger and I have a strong suspicion that the club will reinforce again in the summer.”
The Reds forward was certain his side would be back amongst the top clubs in the upcoming season, he continued, “This helps my belief that we will be playing for trophies again next season. I want to stay because the club is showing ambition, the team is
getting stronger and my family and I absolutely love it here. I hope I will sign my contract very soon.”
Kuyt arrived at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 in 2006 for an undisclosed fee and since then has been a favourite at the club. In his five seasons at the club, Kuyt has had somewhat consistent appearances and goals even though he has never had the honour of being
the top goal scorer for his side. However, he has made a habit of scoring on important occasions, which has made him irreplaceable for the Reds.
