Dutch Rose in great shape to claim Tatler Stakes (Handicap)
Dutch Rose will be a strong contender for victory in the Tatler Stakes (Handicap) at Goodwood in England on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Her success in the class-2 event will be rewarded in a cash prize of £12,450.
There will be a total of 16 talented runners taking part in the 7 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 16:55 GMT. Despite some rain, the conditions have remained good, which will be good news for a lot of participants.
Looking at the statistics of all runners, it is pretty much clear that the competition will be a close one in the race. However, Dutch Rose has been delivering some fantastic results in the 2012 season, thus it will be difficult to prevent her from taking
the top spot. She has been given a starting price of 8 to 1 by the bookmakers and will definitely win the trust of a lot of punters.
The three-year-old filly does not have a lot of experience, but she has been around for quite some time now and will manage to cope up with pressure. Her strike rate is really good and it is improving with the passage of time.
Overall, the David O'Meara’s trainee has participated in eight events, winning four of them. She has finished as a runner up once whereas secured the third spot on the same number of times, which goes onto show what she is capable of achieving.
The Irish filly made her first appearance in July 2011 and was quite competitive back then. She took the runner up spot in her very first outing, which caught the attention of everyone. She took part in a couple of more events that year, but was unable to
impress in them.
However, Dutch Rose turned the tables during the 2012 season, winning four races out of five outings. She managed to win a couple of back-to-back events before finishing third once and then followed that up with two more victories.
Dutch Art’s daughter is carrying the winning momentum right now and she will be chasing a hat-trick of victories today. Veteran jockey, Daniel Tudhope, will be the one helping her achieve this landmark at Goodwood.
