Do you get charged duty when ordering from folica.com (its in US) and shipping to Canada?

  1. You get charged GST no matter what.  You only pay duty on certain things.

    They hold whatever you ordered at the post office and you pay it before they hand it over.

  3. You dont always pay gst, i have ordered stuff and not been charged gst....

    You get charged duty fees for stuff over $20 i believe. I buy a lot for ebay, sometimes i get charged duty sometimes i dont. I just bought something for $88, and I got charged $13 in duty fees.

    Im not sure if its different when buying from a company though.

    One good thing for you to know is to not have things shipped by UPS. UPS will charge you very high brokerage fees, sometimes more than the item itself, so be careful with that because it sucks!
