Dvd's in Australia??

I've heard that the DVD system is different from the US than in Australia.

If i bring my DVD's to australia will the work? (assuming im not bringing my own DVD player and such)

They will only work if you have a multisystem - region free dvd player at the place you will be staying.

The video system in the USA is NTSC

The region is 1

The video system in Australia is PAL

The region is 4

I suggest buying a cyberhome ch-dvd 300s.

Its multisystem, region free, and multivoltage....
