Dvd Computer help?

I have a Windows Xp and when Im trying to put a movies this appears:

"Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem"

How can I fix it?

What does that mean?

  1. For XP, right click the Desktop and go to Properties. Then click the Settings tab and decrease the resolution and/or color quality.

    For Vista, right click the Desktop and go to Personalize. Then click Display Settings and decrease the resolution and/or colors.
