Dvd Jammed

Question

Ok tried playing a divx dvd in the player and nothing happened, so tried to eject it and zilch. SO turned it off, came up OFF on the screen and it still says OFF.Even pulled plug out over night but when tried next morning it still says OFF and I cant do nothing to get the disk out
