Dvd Recorder Help!!(recording)

when i record a movie or some episodes on my dvd recorder and take out the disc it never plays on my pc it just says blank cd help plz

You have to fialise that diisc on Disc Tools but you must change the opitons that are given.

if your recording from a dvd recorder (the ones connected to a TV)

go into the options menu, find disc tools. finalise disc.

the menu probably wont be like that but you will have to go through all the options to find the finalise disc feature. once the disc is finalised, you wont be able to record to it again (if it's DVD-RW you will have to wipe it to record again) then it should be recognised by the computer.

If you are using DVD-R or DVD+R then you need to finalise the discs before you can view it on other DVD players and your computer. This can easily be done, there should be an editing menu which will allow you to do this. Finalising the DVD varies depending on different DVD players so you should probably consult the manual for this. If you are using DVD-RW or DVD+RW discs then you need to make the discs compatible after you have recorded something. This should be in the editing menu again and is fairly quick to do.
