Dvd Recorder help. Please?

I have a Philips dvd recorder 3390, whatever that means. im trying to hook it up and i got sound and video its in black and white though.Help?

  1. If you've hooked everything up right, you may need to do a bit of fine tuning to get the colour. Or try playing the DVD on another channel.


  2. If you're connected by SCART check that the SCART lead is properly connected (not loose) at recorder and TV.

    If using Phono type connection (three coloured connectors) make sure that they're the right way round - I've wrongly connected using these and only got black and white.

    Also check that it's using the right AV channel, your manual should tell you which one to use.
