Dvd Recroder help.?

I purchase a phillips dvd recorder for that purpose. The first couple of times it work with other dvd players. Now, it doesn't even play at any other dvd player. Any suggestion on what happened or what I can do to resolve this problem?

if you mean that a dvd recorded on this will not play on any other dvd players then you may not be remembering to finalize the disc after recording.

I think Aussie is correct. You are not remembering to finalize the DVD when you finish recording it.
