Dvd burning help Please!!?

can someone please tell me (clearly) what format does a movie has to be in to play in the dvd player once downloaded. and what is a good converter.

  1. DVDs are encoded as DVD compliant MPEG-2, in .vob files, in a folder called video_ts and burned to a DVD in Universal Disk Format.  The video_ts folder also contains .ifo files which include the menus and information about the video and audio. Fortunately, converters like DVD Flick take care of all this for you - and it's free!
