Dvd burning help please?

hi

i have used various softwares to burn dvd all used to take about 8-15 minutes to backup a full dvd (my own private ones not copies)

Over the past few days my pc is taking a lot longer to burn a dvd at least 45minutes if i'm lucky.

There has been no changes made to the pc no viruses etc.

Anyone know of a reason why it is now so slow

you software needs up dating or you need to do a disc clean up on ur pc

maybe you have other programs open? because mine does the same thing if i have other programs open.

Try some new discs,and maybe new burning software.

to check if your dvd burner is OK#

download another program and try it .

the 1 i use is "free easy burner"~it's free.

it will back up cd's/dvd's~audio ~data discs it is not a "convertet program"

but it will copy your dvd and prove if your burner is as it was.

may be ur selecting 4x or 8x speed while burning

create more empty space in your hdd

or in the dvd burning software change ur temp dir to the drive where u have more empty space

if  any thing is not working change the dvd burner

Either as the post above you are running another program that is using memory or it's time to do a system defrag.

Have you bought some cheap discs that are running slower?
