Dvd folders not able to view?

Question

I recently put some pictures and movies onto Dvd-r when i click my computer then dvd drive my pc freezes until i remove the dvd. How can i view the files on the dvd without my pc freezing?

restart your computer and set it on safe mode w/ networking then open the files, that might work
