Dvd keeps stopping for a short time and then play again, is there something wrong with the dvd?

i borrowed it from the library for free, so i guess people don't take much care about it. i cleaned them with a kleenex, but it still stops. i would say it's the dvd player, but i tried 2 dvd's and they both stop and then play.

you could try buying special spray on cleaner and use that. there is also an idea people have that peanut butter will clean a cd but i wouldnt try that cuz u could ruin it. I would take it back to the library and tell them.  they might have another copy of the same movie! hope i helped!! : )
