Dvd regions ??how to play different regions??

Question

how do i get an american dvd to play on my uk dvd player?? the dvd is region 1 and the player is set for region 2. any suggestions?

More or less, you can't. There's supposed to be some cheater codes you can punch in with the remote control unit, but I don't know a site that lists them.

Some computers with a DVD drive can play any DVD's.

About the only thing you can do is take it to a DVD copy service and see if they can copy it to region 2. There maybe copyright laws to prevent this.

Download DVD unlocker, it will show you how to make your player multi region then your problem is solved.

Simple answer - you can get a multi-region DVD player for less than £30 from Curry's.  I have one, a Matsui and never had a problem playing US DVDs.
