is it possible to convert the dvd regions more than five times?

and if so, is there a not so expensive way to do it?

Is it for stand alone dvd player or the dvd drive you have with your computer?

If it is for ur computer's dvd drive, u can't change the region code more than 5 times. But instead of changing the regeion code of the drive u can try some region free dvd players available over internet. ( DVD X Player is a region free player )

If it is for ur stand alone dvd player, there should be some code, that u have to enter in to the player using remote control keys.

I have a philips dvd player and initially it had the region code 3, and i searched over net and find out the trick to change the code to 0 or All Region mode. And now it works fine with all region coded discs.
