  1. dvd of coarse they last a lot longer the picture is def. better

    but if you realy want great! picture go with blu ray it is tons better than hd dvd and reg. dvd.

  2. Neither really, ironically Betamax is the stardard for archiving at most TV networks. But commercially DVD is far superior over VHS.

  3. vhs is quite obsolete so yes DVD is the way to go
