I have two dvd burners on a compaq Presario AMD Sempron Processor, 3400+, 1.99 GHz, 1.43 GB Ram.Both of them will read a dvd without problem when inserted. However, I am trying to back up some files and when I insert a blank dvd and look at or access the drive through "my computer" it changes from a DVD-RAM drive to a CD-Drive. When I look at the properties of the disc, it shows that the disc has no free space (and no used space either) I've tried new Sony DVD+R and Verbatim DVD-R discs, and neither work. The fact that both of the drives do the same thing seems to indicate that it is some type of issue with the computer rather than the drives themselves?Thanks for the help.HL-DT-ST- DVDRAM GSA-4176B
