I want a dwarf campbell Russian hamster but my mum doesn't like them because they are small !

Well, I have two. They are both about 2 inches long, and maybe and inch wide. They are very small and cute. They are also nocturnal.They can live up to 1-3 years. If you do get one, ask if you can get two. Dwarf hamsters will be nicer if they are growing up with another hamster. Just please remember, they have to be the s*x and breed. Otherwise, they would try and eat each other.I hope they work for you, and if your mom says  no because they are too small, try getting a guinea pig they are really cute! They are also bigger then hamsters so I wish you luck!!!=)

i had one of those dwarf hamster thingys. They look cute but they are not as strong as other small animals such as gerbils. Mine only lived one and half years. They are very small and this makes them more squishy(don't worry i didn't squish mine lol) and difficult to handle. When i first got my dwarf hammy it was only like an inch and half in diameter(cos its kind of a round ball of fluff). It grew a bit bigger but when i first got it a had to pick it up with two fingers. Thats small.....I think that gerbils and mice maybe friendlier also. Hamsters are more nocturnal and apparently less friendly.

My dwarf russian is 9 centimeters (but he's kinda fat too) I have had campbell russians before too, some were a little bigger and some were a litte smaller than the russian i have now. (only by a centimeter or two) I also have a robo hamster, who is about 4 centimeters (it was hard to get her close to the tape measure to give or take a centimeter or two). I have two syrians that are 13, and 15 centimeters. Good luck convincing your mom.
