Question:

Dwarf Citrus Trees Question?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I have a dwarf lemon tree that produces nice lemons for lemonade ...etc every year. I want to buy more dwarf like trees as they are small and don't take up to much room in the yard. What other citrus trees are there? Also I would love some fruit trees as well ...Are there any fruit trees that come dwarf size? If not I'm willing to buy the big ones as I do have the room for some on my property. Thank you!

  1. if you want a dwarf orange a valecenia dwarf orange is perfect being a mature height of 6 to 8 feet.       Also their is the dwarf meyer lemon which is probably what you have.  Their are some dwarf apples as well as pears.                        Good luck and please pick me as best answer

  2. Here's a great place for dwarf fruit plants.  You have to live in a warm climate for most of these.  I have the Sweet Rio Red Grapefruit tree, tastes sweeter than a ruby red which is great because I don't have to add sugar.

  3. Here's the link for a place that specializes in dwarf citrus. Great info pages as well.

There are a lot of dwarf and ultra-dwarf trees out there, apple, pear, apricot, peach, you name it. The local do it yourself warehouse should still have a few and in the Spring will have a big selection of bare root trees.
