Can I Feed My Dwarf Hamster Red Apples

  1. It may be young but it still has teeth.

    Red apples are fine but if it is green inside then don't feed it to them yet, it just means that it isn't ripe yet.

    Take the seeds out first because they will poison your hamster.

    Because it is young, cut the apple into really small peace's and it should nibble on bigger ones, but don't make it too big because it will be overwhelmed.


  2. Yes, but make sure there are no seeds in it. And not too much, food with high sugar content can cause diabetes, and if fed too much will cause diarrhea.

  3. Yep. They eat almost every fruit, just take care to give him the apple without seed, HE/SHE will love it!

  4. Yes you can but, you have to be very careful with their teeth.

    Make sure the apple has no seeds in it.

    And don't grab them if your hands smell like food.
