Dwarf Puffer fish..?

I have seen a yellow dwarf puffer in my local fish shop and whilst in my attick, have found a 15l fish tank with heater, filter e.x.t and wondeing if I could put the small fish in it?

  1. That 15L is too small. You need a minimum of 25L for a puffer, they may be small but they need space as they are highly curious animals and need things to do. The larger tank would have to be fully cycled, and matured for a few months before it's ready for a puffer. Puffer's are highly sensitive to water quality issues and unless you are experienced in maintaining water quality in small volumes, I suggest keeping more resilient fish until you move on to puffers.
