Dwarf Puffer question???????????????

i have a male and 2 female dwarf puffers. the females like to hunt snails and explore but the male just mopes around in one spot? he dosn't hunt but he will eat the blood worms. the females seem ready to spawn but he won't? he eats well, ... so whats wrong? i just don't get it, hes not even territorial!? PLEASE HELP ME!! (I want them to spawn)

I used to have dwarf puffers yours might be eating too many bloodworms and has gotten hooked on them it happened to mine. He was hooked on them and would eat anything else. He might not be getting the proper nutrition because all he is eating is blood worms. Thats like eating the same thing every day your whole life. What I did was not give mine any at all and offer him different food. He wouldn't eat for a while but he finely got really hungry and started eating stuff besides blood worms.

Blood worms are there primary diet in aquariums even though there natural snail hunters.

Most of mine won;t eat snails unless i crush them first. If i don't they just bite there heads off like its a game.

I use bio-pure hikari frozen blood worms as there staple diet and mine are healthy as a horse. There vbitamin infused nad smaller for good nutrition and easy digestion.

So daily blood worms is fine.

As for breeding issues....

Tank temp right?

Tank pH right?

big leave plant or like willow moss to breed in?
