Question:

Dwarf hamster not eating?

I got a Dwarf Robo hamster this morning, and she's staying in a cage with three levels of shelve. I have her food on the topmost one, because the floor of her cage is too crowded with the dish there. Should she have eaten by now? Or will she eat at night when she feels safer?

  1. she probly doesnt know the food is there, so put her next to her food an seeif she eats

  2. Firstly, she's in a new environment. Let her get used to it first.

Secondly, try moving the food on the bottom floor. Hamsters like to hide their food in their nests, so this will make it easier.

Give her time, let her get used to things first. Hamsters are nocturnal animals, so you may not see her eat during the day.

    Good luck!
