Dwarf hamsters!?!?!?

I'm getting a Dwarf Hamster soon. I want to know what kind of Dwarf Hamster is best and how can I hold them when they wiggle so much. I'm afraid I will lose him

I had a dwarf but I didn't know he was a dwarf when I got him, I just thought he was a baby.  He never wiggled or tried to run off, he loved to be held.  The only thing, for some reason whenever I went to pick him up he always got scared and tried to bite me, something about giant hands coming after him made him scared I guess.  But once I picked him up he was fine and cute and sweet.

Well I don't know if this is the best but I say Winter White. Right now, I own two of them and they are just the sweetest.

Well I am getting a dwarf hamster soon too lol! And I choose the roborovskii hamster because they rarely bite and they are small and cute.

I got those fancy ones and mines never wriggled only if you get him when his was sleeping.So you should do it when he is awake.If he wriggles on the first two days he doesn't know you.You have to leave him alone for the first two days.So he gets to get used to his or her habitat and you then you can hold him buy a treat too.(that was extra info if you needed that)

my dwarf never wiggled at all she would sit in my hand and just walk around. just dont squeeze while you are holding him/her because she will think your tense which will make her tense.

I don't know more than 1 kind of dwarf rabbit but dont get them from the neck skin cause they mite have food in there pockets and the pockets mite pop!Scoop it up with your hands...

russians are the meanest. just about every pet store will tell you that. the best kind to get is chinese.  they are more likely to be the nicest but you still will never know what temprement your getting.  they won't usually just sit still in your hand.  they would rather run around on the floor or bed.  they don't sit there and stay for a long tim.e is about 15 to maybe 20 seconds good for you? robo's love to run very very fastly. it will most definateely not sit in your hand for more than 10 seconds tops.
