Dwyane Wade bounced back from a 12 point performance against the Phoenix Suns with 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists; LeBron James posted 17 points, 10 assists and six rebounds and the Miami rushed to a clinical 88-73 win
over the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday night.

Lawrence Franck, the Pistons coach was bemused by the helplessness of his team;
"We knew exactly how they were going to defend us, but we weren't able to do much against them," he said after the game. "We kept trying to move the ball through the forest of hands, and they were getting all kinds of tips and
deflections."
Miami shot 57 percent from the floor in the first half. They started the game on an 8-3 run, but surrendered the lead quickly afterwards, 9-8. What followed though was 13-5 spurt that took Miami to a 21-14 advantage, one they did
not surrender till the final buzzer.
Heat finished the first quarter at 27-20 and then rattled a 13-3 spurt to start the second quarter, stretching the advantage to 40-23. Three Pistons points later, the men from the South Beach sprinted to yet another run, this time
11-4 and capped by a three point play from LeBron James.
Heat eventually finished the first half with a 56-39 lead. Three a half minutes inside the third quarter, Miami extended the advantage to 65-39, the biggest of the game.
Ben Gordon scored five on a trot at that point, but that burst was neutralized by a Wade and Mario Chalmers, the latter hitting a three. Damien Wilkins then scored seven of his nine points in a 13-2 run which pushed the Pistons
to 57-72.
The hosts reeled off an 8-2 run to start the fourth, bringing the deficit in single figure, 65-74. Wade and Bosh responded immediately and combined for a 10-2 run that sealed the deal.
