Miami Heat superstar looking forward to the effect of three point posion next season ....

Dwyane Wade has been the poster boy of the Miami Heat for the past decade or so, and has only played for them over the course of his NBA career. Wade got Miami their first NBA championship back in 2006, when him and Shaquille O’Neal
teamed up in Miami. Back then, Wade was the leader and floor general of the team, and the offence ran through him.
As the 2012-2013 season approaches, Wade knows that Miami is now LeBron James’ team, but is excited about the fact that Miami went and bought some good perimeter shooters in the offseason to make the Heat offence more multi faceted,
and give them a better chance of defending their NBA crown next season.
Miami added Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, both great perimeter shooters and three point specialists, to the roster during the offseason to add some firepower to their bench which boasted Mike Miller and Shane Battier before that.
The addition of some good perimeter shooters gives James and Wade an offensive option, and spreads the floor for Miami, making them even more dangerous and difficult to guard.
Wade was talking to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel about the new acquisitions and how they would affect the offence of Miami for next season.
“I think I did a little bit in the Finals. With the matchup problems, sometimes I drove just to get guys shots. So I knew that once I drove, that bigger guys who were guarding Shane were going to come to the rim and protect the
rim. Shane had a lot of open shots. My mind frame a lot would be when I get to the paint, when I attack, sometimes I’m going just to draw the defence, knowing I’ve got the shooters and I need to get my shooters shots,” said Wade.
In game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder last season, Mike Miller found his touch from the distance and started nailing three point shots. That addition made Miami almost unstoppable, as they cruised past the
Thunder for the NBA title. If that game was any indication for things to come with the addition of Allen and Lewis, Miami will be a very difficult team to beat next season.
