Dwyane Wade opens up about the much touted Chemistry of Miami Heat Big Three – NBA News
NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade believes that Miami Heat are still working on getting their combination right. The former NBA Finals MVP recently said that the Big Three in particular have to get on the same wavelength because of the
enormous responsibility on their shoulders.
The Big Three of the Miami Heat comprise of super star forward LeBron James, Wade and Chris Bosh. Wade and LeBron are among the top 3 or 4 players in the league at the moment, therefore expectations from the Heat have been sky
high since they got together at the South Beach.
Wade appreciates having such phenomenal player by his side, but he also accepts that the duo can at times play a similar game, which hinders the smooth functioning of the Heat.
“You got players like me and LeBron who are similar in a lot of ways which is a little harder and a little different to make that work.” Dwyane said, in an interview given to ESPN.
He also focused on Chris Bosh, who is at times forgotten because of the sheer star power of Wade and LeBron. Although not as good as the other two, Bosh is a super star in his own right, and one of the very top players in his position.
He carried the Toronto Raptors franchise on his shoulders for years, and Dwyane believes he could make a stunning impact with Miami, if he brings a little more aggression to his game.
“..And then Chris who has a personality that’s a little more laid back. We need him to be a little more aggressive for us to try to figure it out and try to understand it. So there’s just a lot going on but I think we eventually
figured it out.”
Bosh was sometimes criticized in the media last season, when it was alleged that he didn’t do enough to help the side. Although Bosh did appear to struggle at times, an in depth analysis of his performances, especially in the playoffs,
will reveal that the forward just didn’t get the ball as much as he should have.
With the Big Three admittedly not there yet in terms of chemistry, the Heat fell last season in the NBA Finals. Their opponents were the Dallas Mavericks, a side full of veteran players who had been around the league and seen it
all.
Dallas used their experience, better team chemistry and the stupendous performances of Dirk Nowitzki to put one over Miami in the Finals. However, with the abundance of talent at Miami’s disposal, paired with the experience they
gained last year playing together, one would have to say that the balance of power will soon shift to South Beach.
