Miami Heat superstar looking forward to returning to action when the regular season commences
Dwyane Wade has been a busy man recently, and has been doing a lot of appearances and interviews as part of the promotional campaign for his new book about fatherhood. However, for a Miami Heat fan, the most important question
they want to ask him is how his injury is coming along and when does he see himself returning to the court with the Miami Heat.
Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press recently tweeted:
“Wade on knee: “I’m ahead of schedule.”
Wade has been claiming that he is ahead of schedule with his rehab from a knee surgery that he underwent straight after the NBA Finals for some weeks now, and looking forward to being on the court when Miami open the season on
October 31st.
However, the shooting guard as well as his team knows that the most important factor is not being healthy for the start of the season, but being healthy for the NBA playoffs next season. Wade and company would love to win a second
consecutive title and live up to the expectations Miami fans placed on them when they assembled the “big three” back in 2010. They have a better chance of coming out on top of the Eastern Conference this season again, after Chicago Bulls fell out of that conversation
with an ACL injury to their star player, Derrick Rose.
The Heat may come out a little rusty next season with Wade returning from injury, but they will be firing on all cylinders by the time we reach the mid of the season. They are in a good position to win 60 games or more next season,
since the competition has been somewhat weakened and the Heat are looking better than ever before, coming from an NBA Finals victory.
They now know what it means to win in the playoffs, and have the NBA Finals experience as well. LeBron James is growing as a player everyday and becoming more mature as time goes by. The Heat added some good players to the roster
in the offseason to take care of their shooting worries, and are all set to dominate the Eastern Conference next season.
