Miami Heat All Star shooting guard says LeBron is just getting started and finally understanding the game.....
LeBron James is one of the best basketball players on the planet right now, and he has all the medals and accolades to prove that claim.
James looked like an even better player this past NBA season, earning himself the regular season MVP award, the third of his career. He stepped up his defensive game as well, earning him a spot in the All Defensive First Team.
James then went on to win the NBA championship with the Miami Heat, and was named the NBA Finals MVP.
A few weeks later, he guided the U.S national basketball team to a gold medal in the London Olympics, becoming the only player since Michael Jordan to win the regular season MVP, NBA Finals MVP, NBA championship and Olympic Gold
Medal in the same year. But the scary part is that his Miami Heat teammate, Dwyane Wade thinks he is only getting started.
Wade was in his hometown of Chicago to promote his new book on fatherhood. And while there, he talked to ESPNChicago.com about James and the fact that he can achieve even greater things in the NBA.
“He's been very good. He has three MVPs. I don't know statistically how much more he can do, but I think just his dominance of a game and starting to really understand everything about the game now. It's starting to all come together.
That's the scary part,” said Wade.
Wade also talked about James working out with Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant in the offseason, saying that he had no problems with James working out with the best player on the team with the most chances of spoiling
a Heat party next year in the playoffs. Miami beat the Thunder in five games in the NBA Finals this year.
“It's just two of the best players taking things from each other, in a sense, and seeing the other person's work ethic so they push each other to be good, and I think on the other end it's LeBron being kind of the veteran in the
sense that KD is the future of this game as well,” added Wade.
