  1. tell her u think the colors are really preatty and will look great on you tell her how much  u want it =]

    good luck

  2. i saw blonde and ust tell your mom that platinum blonde is really close in color to dirty blonde or just get it died and tell your mom after

  3. i dyed my hair black =]

  4. I don't know how to convince mommy but if you really can't be happy with your own hair color, go black.  Blond is boring.

  5. Tell her your reasoning first, if that doesn't work resort to playing the whole low self-esteem card and finally if that doesn't work do it anyway.

    Some arguments for you:

    * I can get some that will actually improve my hairs health

    * My natural hair color is ugly/faded/to light/dark

    * I want a new beginning for school to improve myself

    * I WANT TO!!

  6. M mm you must be a scenester <3

Well, if your light skinned and if your skinny, get blonde hair.

If your medium skinned/dark skin and if your normal/medium/large get black hair..

Also, if your light skinned, i suggest getting blonde , and then black underneath, it looks really good.

  7. i like the black the blonde one looks dirty.

first of all, die damages your hair beyond belief and its more trouble than it's worth!! Trust me i died my hair in 7th grade then you have to do it every two months.

but if you really want to just tell her your mature enough to pick what color your hair should be.

  8. I don't know about Mom--but I like the blonde a lot.

  9. Both are really extreme. If you do blonde it might damage your hair. Black is less likely to damamge but is ridiculously hard to get out. If your mom doesnt want you to dye your hair there probably is no convincing her. Theres really no "good" reason to dye your hair, and again you could damage it. Maybe if you bother her enough about it she will give in. You could always just buy it and do it at a freinds house.

  10. Well tell her that it is your hair. And hair will always grow back. Its a way to express yourself. And it is actually common today. And at least it isn't anything wacky like pink hair or something. Just keep asking her about it. I think it would be really cute! And since your hair is already blonde is shouldn't be to much of a change!!!

Hope you get the hair you want!

  11. i  will say blone

  12. Whatever you pick, I hope you don't use the same product as the blonde. Her hair looks like straw - really damaged. And she has major roots showing. Unless you want exactly that look, maintaining a hair color that's very different from your natural color is a major pain.

Why don't you try something that isn't permanent? You and your mom can see what it looks like. She'll get used to the idea.

I started going grey when I was 16. It's a family trait. I've been coloring my hair for the last 39 years. It gets old. I can still get away with coloring it because (a) it's very common now for women AND men of any age to do it, and (b) I avoided the sun for most of my life so my "skin age" is 10 years younger than the rest of me.

If you buy something semipermanent, it may be less of a shock to your mom and you can just say you weren't sure either, but wanted to see how it would look. It just seems less defiant to me if you do that.

    Baby steps :)  Good luck.

  13. lol the colors r like so different from each other i would go blonde first beacause black it extremely hard to get rid of you would have to get your hair bleached to get rid of black aND bleeacheing hurts so go blonde first if u dont like it and ur sure u can stand the hurt of bleaching if u dont like black on u go black after wards

  14. how old are you first?

trust me you will need to bleech your hair for the blonde and that can really damage it, it did me.

but just tell her how you feel about it, and that you really want to change your hair, and if it goes wrong you will take the consequences.

    good luck xxxx

btw why not try a blonde a bit lighter than you're colour or a nice shiney brunett/ brown

  15. just do it

  16. The black won't stay for too long it will wash out quickly even with permanent hair color. It's just a fact with light colored hair.

I am surprised to read so many people that say it's hard to get out of your hair. I couldn't keep dark colors in my hair they would fade into something other than the color I originally started with.

Maybe they know something I don't.

I hope you are prepared to lose the elasticity and strength of your hair when you go through this process.

How can you convince your mom?... well I can't help you there I would just tell her that you want to do it, but don't freak out if she says no. Try to listen to her and maybe you can compromise.

  17. Just tell her that you will pay for the hair dye with your own money, and you will do extra work around the house to have your hair that color. That always works for me! The paying out of your own money really hits the spot! Haha, :)

  18. i can't really pick one for u because u didn't post a pic of ueself.  anyways if ur over 16 years old i say just do it if not then maybe u can talk to ur mom and ask her opinion and act like u care and then she might let u dye ur hair

  19. Well both of those colors are very extreme and hard on your hair and there is no way I would tell you to do this yourself.  So either way go to a salon!!!

Once you go platinum it is very hard to get back to your natural color.  I know you think it will be easy, just throw more dye on top of it, but it doesn't work that way because your hair has been chemically and structurally altered.  If you do the black on light hair it will turn out with a greenish/greyish tinge if you do it yourself and it is very hard to get the black dye out if you want to return to your natural color.

If you want a change and you want to do it yourself go to the store and find a color 1-2 shades different from your natural color (a little brighter, a little darker) and follow the instructions closely!  Have a friend help.

  20. I'm not sure how to convince your mum, but don't bleach your hair as it will make your hair fall out quicker, and don't dye your hair black especially as it is blonde, you won't get your natural hair colour bck and you'll have to keep redying it making your hair damaged and dry.

  21. since your hair is already dirty blonde, i think it would be easier to go platinum at home....as for the black, i would do that at a salon...or maybe you can do either at a salon if you can afford it......but convincing your mom should be easy..dont tell her that you want a very drastic change....just tell her that you want to go lighter....and then tell the stylist what you want...cuz after its done there is nothing she can do and im sure she may even like it or it will grow on her...just be mature about it when telling her and dont whine too much
